The Major Arcana — All 22 Cards
The Major Arcana are the 22 foundational cards of the tarot deck, numbered 0 through 21. They represent life's big themes — beginnings and endings, transformation and stillness, love and loss, power and surrender.
Unlike the Minor Arcana (which reflect daily situations), the Major Arcana point to deeper currents. When one of these cards appears in a reading, it's worth paying close attention — something significant is at play.
The journey from The Fool (0) to The World (21) is sometimes called “The Fool's Journey” — a narrative arc of growth, challenge, and eventual integration that mirrors the human experience.
